ICOLT has a range of membership opportunities to land trusts and similar organizations ranging from those with a large statewide presence holding a significant number of easements and fee title lands to small, mostly volunteer land trusts with few conservation easements. Affiliate memberships are also available to government agencies, conservation professionals and consultants, conservation-minded individuals and businesses, foundations, and other organizations that participate as non-voting, affiliate members.
The benefits of belonging include:
A strong unified voice promoting voluntary conservation education, providing information to the public, partners, and elected decision-makers
Being part of an active network of land trust organizations, partners, and allies collaborating with each other and other organizations to increase voluntary conservation in Idaho
Monthly updates on ICOLT efforts, conservation issues, executive and legislative activities from a trusted source of information
Spring and Fall Members meetings, monthly Brown Bag lunches to network, learn, and strengthen partnerships
Monthly updates with timely info on available funding sources, conferences, legislation, and more
